  • The Bush tax cuts helped bring on the recession that we are in. They don't have anything else (except cuts) in their tool box.

  •  POTUS asked for a clean debt ceiling billl (historically a 2 sentence bill).  Who refused to do it.  Then he offered 4T in cuts (more than was ultimately obtained).  Cantor and Boehner walked away from the table because they did not want revenue increases.
